Enjoy two of Vancouver’s most iconic summer spectacles with Bard Fireworks Nights! 

With a ticket to Bard Fireworks Nights, you can take in a performance of Much Ado About Nothing or The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again] followed by an elevated dessert buffet by Emelle’s Catering, before sitting down in a private viewing area for unparalleled views of the spectacular Celebration of Light fireworks. 

Wondering about dining options? The Village opens at 4:30pm for Bard Fireworks Nights, so you can bring your own picnic, pre-order a Fireworks Picnic from Emelle’s Catering (additional charges apply), or enjoy a selection of snacks from our concession before the show or during intermission. 

Wine, beer, ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase. 

If you require dietary accommodations for allergies or food intolerances, please contact the Box Office no later than 72 hours before your event date.

What to Expect

Timeline of Events

4:30pm: Village opens

  • Give yourselves lots of time to arrive, as the area will be busy! 
  • Pre-ordered Fireworks Picnics will be available for pick-up starting at 4:30pm to enjoy before the show or during intermission 

6pm: Performance Begins 

20-minute intermission 

8:15pm: Dessert and coffee service begins 

  • Includes dessert station from Emelle’s Catering as well as coffee, tea, and hot chocolate 

9:30pm: Cash bar closes 

10pm: Electric drone show and Celebration of Light fireworks 

  • Fireworks music simulcast broadcast through our speaker system

Cookie Sandwich Bar

  • Lemon blueberry cookies with cream cheese filling
  • Chocolate chunk cookies with rainbow sprinkle cream filling 
  • Matcha Shortbread with strawberry jam

                Rainbow sprinkles, white chocolate shavings, chocolate cookie crumbs and caramel bits 

                         Includes tea, coffee, and elevated hot chocolate option 

                         

                        Parking & Directions: 

                        Road closures in Kits Point will begin starting at 6pm. If you plan to drive to Bard Fireworks Nights, arrive early and leave plenty of time to find parking. We encourage you to bike, walk, take transit, or carpool if you are able. There is enclosed bike parking available on site. 

                        Fireworks Picnics

                        The following picnics are available to order for Bard Fireworks Nights. Please note that the picnics are not included in the cost of a Bard Fireworks Night performance ticket, additional costs are listed below.

                        Et Tu Turkey – $36 each (vegan/vegetarian option available)

                        turkey sandwich with a mini pie and a broccoli salad
                        • fresh roasted turkey & cranberry sandwich
                          mutli-grain bread with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and house-made cranberry sauce
                          vegan/vegetarian alternative – ‘un-tuna’ salad sandwich with shredded carrot and creamy herbed spread
                        • broccoli poppy seed salad
                        • ginger peach hand pie

                        gluten free alternative +$2

                        Royal Banquet – $48 each (vegan/vegetarian option available)

                        two picnic boxes, one with salmon, salad and a panna cotta, the other with tofu. salad, and a panna cotta
                        • 3oz agave-glazed wild salmon
                          vegan/vegetarian alternative – agave-glazed tofu
                        • rainbow quinoa salad with chipotle honey vinaigrette
                        • mixed heritage greens salad with mango dressing
                        • coconut lime panna cotta

                        all items in the Royal Banquet Picnic are dairy and gluten-free
