World Theatre Day was created in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute (ITI). It is celebrated annually on March 27th by the international theatre community. 

Each year, the ITI invites a significant player from the international theatre community to prepare a message based on their reflections of the themes of theatre and a culture of peace. This year, Italian playwright, author and Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo shares his thoughts.
