Photography & Recording Release for School Programs

Bard Education is committed to building community through our programming for schools, families, and individuals.

As we continue to grow these programs, we would like to share their story with schools, funders, and the community at large. Photographs and video footage, which may be displayed online, in brochures, or otherwise, provide an essential illustration of the delight and excitement students feel when they encounter Shakespeare's language actively and imaginatively.

Your child’s privacy is important to us. We never share the names of participants or schools on public platforms. Photos and recordings are stored on a secure server.

Photography & Recording Release

As parent or legal guardian of the child named below, I, for good and valuable consideration, hereby consent to and give Bard on the Beach Theatre Society (“Bard”) permission to use, reproduce and display photographs, images, video footage or other recordings or likenesses (collectively, “Images”) of my Child, as taken during my Child’s participation in the Bard Education workshops or presentations, for displaying on Bard on the Beach’s website, in online social media, or in print or other materials for the purpose of showcasing Bard’s education programs, for an unlimited period and without further compensation to, or approval by, me or my Child. Further, Bard is also given permission to forward any such images to newspapers, media outlets and Bard’s funding partners for news coverage and promotion of Bard’s programs.

I, on my own behalf and on my Child’s behalf, release Bard and its directors, officers, employees and agents, including without limitation, the persons who record or create any of the Images or materials comprising the Images, in respect of any and all claims I or my Child might otherwise have in connection with Bard’s use of the Images within the scope of this Photography and Recording Release, including without limitation, in respect of any claims of invasion of privacy, appropriation of personality, or any other personal or property rights.
