Opera & Arias: A Celebration!

After a three-year absence, opera’s best-loved repertoire will fill the BMO Mainstage theatre again! Feel all the passion, love and joy in favourite selections from Verdi’s La Traviata, The Merry Widow (Lehár), Die Fledermaus (Strauss) and more.
Featuring the gifted young singers of the UBC Opera Ensemble, directed by Nancy Hermiston, along with members of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, led by Maestro Leslie Dala. Plus – expect a special surprise from Bard’s Artistic Director Christopher Gaze, who hosts the concerts. All performed against Bard’s beautiful backdrop of mountains, sea and sky. Unforgettable!
