Community Access Tickets
I hope the Bard on the Beach company and volunteers know how much it means to me to attend a professional theatre performance. It is something that is beyond my financial means. The volunteer staff were friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. – Member, Kettle Society
Bard on the Beach is committed to making theatre accessible to everyone by removing social, physical and financial barriers to attending our Festival. Our Community Access program helps us achieve this goal.
Is there an organization that you think would benefit from receiving Community Access tickets? Let us know by emailing email@example.com or by filling out the contact form below!
Looking for ticket donations to use for your event or fundraiser? Please fill out our ticket donation request form on our Donation Requests page.
COMMUNITY ACCESS TICKETS ELIGIBILITY
Our program offers tickets to groups – we cannot offer Community Access tickets to individuals. Instead, we suggest that individuals looking to experience our Festival take part in our Volunteer program or speak to our Box Office (604.739.0559) about ticket rates. Community Access tickets are for organizations that work with individuals who face one or more barriers to attending the Festival, including but not limited to financial, physical and social.
A big thank you for the tickets for our Youth to go to Bard on the Beach. This was the first live theatre event any of them had been to and they absolutely loved it. The whole evening was well received and the Youth are now looking at live theatre in a whole new light. – Lee, Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC
What an awesome gift you’ve given our clients! It was exactly the respite they needed in their struggle battling with chronic medical conditions, poverty and homelessness. Thank you! – Advocate, Disability Alliance BC
Organizations located within the Lower Mainland or surrounding areas will be given priority.
If your organization is interested in receiving Community Access tickets next season, please fill out the form below and we will follow up after single tickets have gone on sale in April 2020.
We are very grateful to YVR and the Seedlings Foundation for their generous support of this program.
