Tickets are part of a sponsorship agreement, and the number of included tickets starts at 20.
Who does the catering?
Emelle’s Catering is Bard’s official caterer. They have a variety of options for you to choose from, passed canapes to individual boxes to popular chefs’ stations. We will connect you with a team member at Emelle’s directly so that you can get exactly what best suits your budget and goals.
How is the bar handled? Can I do a host bar?
Bard staff will handle all your beverage requests and service during your event. We offer a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We can accommodate requests such as a host bar or drink tickets for your guests. A non-hosted bar is also available upon request.
Can I bring my own alcohol/drinks?
No. Alcohol that has not been purchased by Bard on the Beach is not permitted on our site.
Do you accept Cash?
We accept credit (Visa/Mastercard) and debit cards only.
When can we access the site?
Guests arrive 1 ½ hour prior to the performance for private reception. The site is open prior to that by arrangement–please connect with our events coordinator to arrange for any pick ups or deliveries.
They will enter through a separate VIP path and will be checked in by our experienced event volunteers and staff.
Typically, our shows run 2hrs and 30 minutes with one 20-minute intermission.
You can include intermission service as an add-on, you can also provide your guests with drink tickets so that they can purchase directly from the concession in our Bard Village. An intermission coffee, tea and dessert service can be a great added experience for your guests.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is ample parking in the area. We are located directly behind the Museum of Vancouver/Space Centre and they have a very large parking lot. There are 3 parking lots located close to the Bard Festival site. Please note that these are all paid lots operated by EasyPark, not Bard on the Beach.
What happens if it rains the day of our performance?
The Marquee Tent will provide enough coverage for your guests and most public spaces at Bard are covered (Village/lobby space, washrooms, theatres).
Can guests sit together in block seating?
Yes, we will book your tickets however you prefer but typically we keep you together in a specific section of the theatre in our premium area. A Bard staff member will facilitate all your ticket needs and requests.
Would it only be our group in the Marquee Tent?
Only your group will have access to this space when you sponsor a Bard performance.
