We’re happy to work with any experience level. We’d just like to know so we can create the best session for your students.
Have you and your students watched A Shakesperience yet, or will you have seen it before the session?
Have you used any of the resources in the Discovery Zone and the accompanying Teacher Zone in your lesson planning or with your students?

Preferred Dates

Workshops run up to 90 minutes but can be shortened to accommodate your school’s timetable and your student’s needs.

We defer to your expertise to know what your students need in terms of workshop length. That said, here are some recommendations for workshop length based on grade:

  • K, 1, 2 — 30 minutes
  • 3, 4 — 45 minutes
  • 5, 6 — 60 minutes
  • 6, 7, and older — 60 or 75 minutes

Financial Subsidies

Our costs for these workshops are $195 per session, which includes a $25 non-refundable deposit. Thanks to support of our funders, Bard is thrilled to offer up to 100% subsidies for workshop fees throughout the 2026/2027 school year. However, this funding is not unlimited. To serve as many schools and students as possible, we’d like to direct this support where it’s truly needed.

If you are able to contribute towards the cost of your workshop(s), you help us broaden our impact by making these workshops available to more young people.

Please note that, in the spirit of fairness and equal access, we may have to limit the number of subsidised workshops per teacher and school.

Workshops are not confirmed until payment has been received. Please refer to the FAQs for more information on our refundable deposit system.
