Young Shakespeareans Workshops
Welcome to the Young Shakespeareans 2015!
Join our troupe of Young Shakespeareans for an unforgettable theatrical adventure!
For over twenty years our Young Shakespearean Workshops have inspired, nurtured and encouraged the dreams of children and teens from ages eight to eighteen. Professional actors from our company bring Shakespeare’s words to life through coaching in voice, movement and dialogue, and with activities designed to boost confidence and foster collaborative relationships. We want our Young Shakespeareans to gain ease with the language, passion for the text and friendships that last long beyond the summer.
All workshops take place on the Bard stages and culminate in a presentation for family and friends. Every registration includes complimentary tickets -- for the Young Shakespearean and a guest – to a Bard Mainstage matinee performance on the weekend of the presentation. If you wish to purchase additional tickets for this performance, please do so well in advance so that your party has a better chance of being seated together – contact Chantal Lyons-Stevenson at 604.739.0559 or email@example.com

RIOTOUS YOUTH: We are thrilled to announce that our Riotous Youth Program will continue for its second year! A program for former Young Shakespeareans aged 19-24 years, Riotous Youth gives young people the opportunity to assist Young Shakespearean teaching artists, deliver pre-show talks to patrons, participate in weekly classes, prepare their own Shakespeare-inspired piece to be presented to family, friends and the Bard company, and receive an honorarium. For more information click here.
We look forward to seeing you this summer for some comedy, tragedy, history or romance with the Young Shakespeareans of 2015!
