Vancouver is often described as one of the most beautiful and liveable cities in the world. One of the easiest and best ways to take in the views of this fantastic city is by bike (and we’re proud to say that almost all of our actors bike to Bard!) The journey to Bard on the Beach along the seawall is a great way to take in some spontaneous events while travelling at your own pace. For all three of our Bard B-Q & Fireworks nights you’ll be able to park at our site in style, thanks to West Point Cycles, which is providing personal bike valet service. As a cycling patron, you can also be in the running for some fantastic prizes! If you bike to bard on Fireworks nights, your evening will roll like this: you’ll watch a performance of Twelfth Night or Measure For Measure, enjoy a delicious sit-down salmon dinner during intermission, and your play will end in time for you to watch the spectacular fireworks display from our private viewing area. Then completely escape the post-fireworks traffic jams as you bike your way back along the seawall – where you’ll likely find even more entertainment!
